2013 Washington Nationals Consensus Top 32 Prospects
Posted: April 1, 2013 Filed under: Prospects, Rankings Leave a comment »Introduction
I have created a cumulative prospect list for each team based on other (more knowledgeable) peoples’ lists. Each time a prospect appears on a list, he gets a number of points (21 minus his ranking). The prospect with the largest amount of points is ranked first. I will be posting each team once they have been completed by all of my sources. You can find a link to all of the other teams top prospects on the Team Prospects page. Clicking on the links below will take you to the team’s list on each respective site.
Five lists was published much earlier in the offseason before the Nationals acquired A.J. Cole. To account for this, I took his average ranking from the other lists and inserted him into the list that missed him. All other prospects behind him were bumped down one ranking.

Several lists were published much earlier in the offseason before the Diamondbacks acquired Didi Gregorious, Zeke Spruill, and Nick Ahmed. To account for this, I took each prospect’s average ranking from the other lists and inserted them into the list that missed them. All other prospects behind them were bumped down one ranking.

One list was published much earlier in the offseason before the Rays acquired Wil Myers, Jake Odorizzi, Mike Montgomery and Patrick Leonard. To account for this, I took each prospect’s average ranking from the other lists and inserted them into the list that missed them. All other prospects behind them were bumped down one ranking. Montgomery and Leonard were not ranked on all of the lists that were published after the trade, so I did not rank them on the one that missed them.
