2013 Miami Marlins Consensus Top 28 Prospects
Posted: February 13, 2013 Filed under: Prospects, Rankings 1 Comment »Introduction
I have created a cumulative prospect list for each team based on other (more knowledgeable) peoples’ lists. Each time a prospect appears on a list, he gets a number of points (21 minus his ranking). The prospect with the largest amount of points is ranked first. I will be posting each team once they have been completed by all of my sources. You can find a link to all of the other teams top prospects on the Team Prospects page. Clicking on the links below will take you to the team’s list on each respective site.
Two lists were published much earlier in the offseason before the Marlins acquired Jake Marisnick, Justin Nicolino, Adeiny Hechavarria and Derek Dietrich. To account for this, I took each prospect’s average ranking from the other lists and inserted them into the lists that missed them. All other prospects behind them were bumped down one ranking.

The List
The “Change” column describes how the prospect’s status changed from 2012. a positive number means the prospect moved up in the list, while a negative number means he moved down. A prospect’s name is green if he is new to the organization this year.
